This tee is inspired by ✨Queen Boudica✨
After enduring brutal acts by the Romans, including the enslavement of her daughters and family, Boudica united the Iceni tribes in a fierce rebellion in AD 61. Her army struck a decisive blow, defeating the Roman Ninth Legion and laying waste to the Roman capital of Britain in Colchester. They then advanced to destroy London and Verulamium (St Albans), leaving thousands dead in their wake. Though ultimately defeated by the Roman general Paulinus, Boudica’s courage and defiance made her a lasting symbol of freedom and justice. In the Victorian era, her legacy was immortalized with the commissioning of her statue.
