This tee is inspired by ✨Hilma Af Klint ✨
Crazy Witch" is inspired by a nickname given to Hilma af Klint by the locals of her Swedish island. Known for her role as a medium, Hilma believed her paintings were guided by spirits. Little did they know, this so-called "crazy witch" would become a pioneer of abstract art.
For decades, Wassily Kandinsky was hailed as the father of abstract art, but Hilma began creating her own form of abstract work as early as 1906—nearly a decade before him. In her will, she instructed that her art should not be shown until 20 years after her death. It wasn’t until 2018, a century later, that Hilma was finally "officially" recognized as the true pioneer of abstract art
